This role is based at the Boddington operation and offers the benefit of being home every night.

South32 Worsley Alumina is seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Electrical Third Year to join the Boddington team on a full time basis. This position is offered as a two year fixed term contract.

Applicants must have successfully completed both first and second year training requirements of the Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology.

The role will commence on a four day roster before transitioning to a shift roster. Please note that accommodation is not provided on site and this is a drive in drive out position. Employees are ideally located within an hour’s drive of Boddington.

• Continue developing automotive electrical trade skills under the supervision of qualified tradespeople
•  Perform automotive electrical maintenance and repair tasks in a large industrial environment
• Apply fault finding and diagnostic techniques
•  Maintain high standards of safety and comply with workplace health and safety requirements
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Contribute positively to a safety focused and collaborative team culture
